Spring is green, (Весна зелена)

Summer is bright. (Лето яркое)

Autumn is yellow, (Осень желтая)

Winter is white. (Зима белая)

Twelve Months

January brings the snow, (Январь приносит снег)

Makes our feet and fingers glow. (Ноги и пальцы горят от мороза)

February snows again (Февраль снежит снова)

And sometimes it brings us rain. (А иногда дождит)

March brings sunny days and winds (Март дает солнечные дни и ветер)

August brings us golden corn, (Август приносит золотые зерна,)

Then the harvest home is borne. (Наполняет закрома урожаем.)

Warm September brings us school, (Теплым Сентябрем идем в школу,)

Days are shorter, nights are cool. (Дни короче, ночи холоднее.)

Fresh October brings much fruit (Свежий Октябрь приносит много фруктов)

Then to gather them is good. (Которые так приятно собирать.)

Red November brings us joy, (Красный Ноябрь приносит нам радость,)

Fun for every girl and boy. (Развлечения для каждой девочки и мальчика)

Cold December brings us skating, (Холодным Декабрем катаемся на коньках,)

Welcome Back to School

There are four seasons : winter, spring, summer and autumn. The weather is frosty and snowy in winter. The months are : December, January, February. Children can ski and skate.
The weather is warm in spring. The months are : March, April and May. We can ride a bike and play football.
The weather is hot and sunny in summer. The months are : June, July and August. Children can play with friends all days , ride a bike and play with balls.

The weather is cold, rainy and cloudy in autumn. The leaves on the trees are red and yellow. The months are : September, October and November. WE often stay at home.

Утворення множини іменників

Множина іменників утворюється додаванням до форми од­нини закінчення -(e)s

            a room — rooms                  a day — days                        

                                    a book — books

            a ball— balls                         a sea — seas                          

Іменники, що закінчуються на -s, -ss, -x, -sh, -ch, у множині мають закінчення -es

                a box — boxes                                  a bus — buses

                a dress — dresses                           a bench — benches

До іменників, що закінчуються на -у з попередньою приго­лосною, додається закінчення -es; при цьому у змінюється на і.

               a cherry — cherries                        a berry — berries

               a lorry — lorries                             a factory — factories

У деяких іменниках, що в однині закінчуються на -f, -fe, у множині f змінюється на v з додаванням закінчення -(e)s.

Деякі іменники утворюють множину не за правилами. Їх слід запам'ятати:
